Valexia Productions

Valexia Productions is an independent film production company based in California. Valexia Productions’ ideology is based on the core traditions of which producing a film with meaningful values is everything. The art of storytelling is impactful to not only the creator but also the viewer. With this in mind, the film industry is moving forward.

While designing Valexia Productions’ logo, I chose a typeface that resembled a modern fast environment but still held a retro feel. Blenny was the suitable typeface paired with Avenir Next to contrast its boldness. In addition to the logo, I also designed a condensed version to complement specific applications in which the emblem might be presented.

A motion graphics intro is essential to any production company; it is a branded application that many viewers instantly recognize. For this intro, I began my process by viewing and identifying what other production companies used for their openings. Since Valexia Productions wanted to keep the core tradition of film, we decided that showing the film grain and gradually turning to a clear picture demonstrates how far filmmaking has come.
